The upper is silver patent leather with a deliberately distressed crinkle texture across the entire surface: the same crinkle construction as the gold Country JQ5110, but here applied to the flat, pointed, laceless Taekwondo silhouette, where the contrast between the futuristic material and the ancient sport is at its most extreme. The silver catches light differently from every angle — bright and mirror-like on the raised surfaces, darker and more textured in the creases. There are no laces.
