The Adidas Samba OG HP5059 takes the most recognisable football-turned-streetwear silhouette in the Adidas archive and removes the heel counter entirely — turning it into a mule. The result is a shoe that carries all the visual weight of the Samba — the low profile, the three stripes, the gum sole, the side branding — but wears like a slip-on. The upper is a woven knit fabric in off-white cream, a significant departure from the smooth leather of the standard Samba OG: the texture is open and tactile, with a visible weave structure across the entire surface. The three stripes are mocha brown — a warm, earthy tone that sits close to the cream upper in temperature while still reading as a distinct accent. The toe cap is cream suede. The lacing system is present but purely aesthetic on the mule version: the shoe is designed to be stepped into from the front, with the open heel allowing easy on and off.
